Alison began dancing at the age of three in Houston, TX. After moving to Austin in 1989 she continued dancing with studios around the Austin area. At that point she had the pleasure of joining the award winning Lake Travis High School Cavalettes. She served as a member all four years and as a Cavalette Lieutenant Officer as a junior and senior. During that time she received several awards, was named All-American Dancer and received an invitation to perform in the Florida Citrus Bowl. Upon graduation from LTHS, she attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and was a member of the UTSA Danceline on scholarship for two years. She has continued to instruct Cavalette and officer candidates to prepare for auditions each year as well as competition choreography for Cavalette soloists. Alison has been a part of numerous conventions and competitions traveling throughout Texas, Louisiana, California and Las Vegas. She has choreographed for UTSA Danceline, Miss Austin Scholarship pageants and Broadway Dance/Broadway Competition Team. Some accomplishments include being selected a member of the Southwest Texas Strutters, performances and appearances in the Austin and Greater San Antonio area, the Austin’s Chuy's Christmas Parade and Zilker Park's Broadway Christmas Spectacular. Alison has judged High School Drill Team/Cheerleading auditions in the San Antonio area as well. Professional auditions include the Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and the final round of many for the Bally Total Fitness Dance Team in Dallas. She was also a finalist in the Miss Teen Austin Pageant and Miss Austin Scholarship Pageant.

Alison holds two degrees in Business and hopes to begin working on a teaching certification to instruct high school drill team. After teaching and assisting at other dance studios, she found a home with Broadway Dance & Fitness. She has been with Broadway from the end of the first year of business and is thrilled to be teaching Drill Team, Jazz and the Broadway Competition Kick Company.
